WHAT'S NEW?

  1. Pop-up typing assistant

What essentially would be a cumbersome process for most users of Indian typing tools was the key mapping of Indian characters to the computer keyboards, not to mention the special keyboards which would be required to be purchased or installed separately. Lipikaar skips the special keyboard part and comes with a pop up typing assistant which helps the user in identifying and typing the Indian language character by just typing its English sounding equivalent. By displaying all the succeeding characters mapped on the pressed key. To mark an example, if a person wants to get the character 'ष', he/she would press the closest sounding English letter wiz. 'S' which in turn would pop up the help displaying 'स' 'श' 'ष' 'श्र' for pressing the key as many times.

  2. Auto install of complex scripts to enable Windows with minimum configuration.

The latest version also makes the addition of Windows language packs a one step process with its built in Complex scripts enabler. . So you don't have to go on looking for your Operating System installation files elsewhere.

  3. Easy switching between English and other languages

Using shortcut keys, toggling between English and other languages becomes very easy.

  4. Other added features and Usability:

Lipikaar 8.6 with an improved user interface and trendy buttons on your Lipikaar toolbar you can feel at home writing in your own language. Just click on the help and you will be provided with help files for each language citing examples in every one of them. Besides there is no need for the Windows toolbar to be enabled on the taskbar separately. Lipikaar 8.6 has an in built language bar for selecting the language of your choice.

So the wait is officially over. Presenting yet another improvement in your favorite language tool -- Lipikaar Desktop Software Version 8.6
