Installation and User Guide

  1. Download the setup and double click on it to start the installation.
  2. A "Software Installation" window will pop-up and guide you through the installation process.
    Note: In case a security warning window pops up, click on "Run" or "Unblock".
  3. Once Lipikaar is installed, it will create an icon called "Start Lipikaar" on your desktop.
  4. Click the icon to add Lipikaar to your taskbar.
  5. Right click on the taskbar icon and click on "Lipikaar User Guide". This documentation describes how to use Lipkaar to type in each of the supported scripts and how to configure your Windows machine for the same.

Languages

All versions of Windows support Devanagari (Hindi, Marathi, Sanskrit, Nepali, Konkani, Sindhi).

Windows XP and Vista also support - Devanagari, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Arabic and Urdu.
